When Landscape Designer, Pamela Dore decided she would move back to the Adirondack region of New York from the South West, she knew she needed to readapt to the colder climate. One thing she did right a way was to build a greenhouse out of recycled windows to help her plants along in the early months. We were drawn to its ingenuity and beauty and went to take a look. Sticking to the true meaning of Adirondack, Dore used local resources and designed the greenhouse to blend in with her 18th century farmhouse. All around her property, you see the strong influences of the Adirondacks, like rustic furnishings, but Dore subtly blends these with the designs from the South West creating a unique and charming home and garden.
